Tajmin avait depuis la naissance un bec de lièvre qui l'em-
péchait de s'alimenter normalement. Ses parents sont des
survivants du gaz et habitent dans un quartier très fortement
pollué par l'eau. Elle a fait partie d'un groupe de huit enfants
atteints de malformation, envoyés au St Stephen's Hospital
de Delhi, pour corriger leur handicap. Toutes les interven-
tions se sont déroulées avec succès.

Tajmin Khan, age 3 – Blue Moon Colony, 50m from the factory –
Tajmin was born with a cleft lip that prevented her from feeding
herself normally. Her parents are gas survivors and live in a
neighborhood with heavily contaminated water. She was part of
group of eight children with disorders, sent to St.Stephen’s Hos-
pital in Delhi to treat their conditions. All of the interventions
were successful. Here is Tajmin 3 weeks later.
